A newly built international high-end medical center requires its core areas (including sterile operating rooms, ICU wards, and nurses' stations) to meet extremely high hygiene and antimicrobial standards. The project aims to create a model healthcare environment with "zero risk of infection."

Customer needs

Stringent antimicrobial standards: Materials with excellent antimicrobial properties must be used, and these properties must be effective over time and not fail due to surface wear.

Seamless design: Walls, countertops, sinks and even floors must be completely seamlessly connected to completely eliminate any corners where bacteria and viruses may hide.

Chemical corrosion resistance: It must be able to withstand the high-frequency wiping and corrosion of medical-grade disinfectant.

Solution

Food-grade antimicrobial technology (core barrier): ShineStone's pure acrylic solid surface material is the first to apply food-grade antibacterial technology, achieving an antibacterial rate of over 99%. This antibacterial effect is not a surface coating but rather extends throughout the entire thickness of the sheet. Even after prolonged wear and disinfectant cleaning, its antibacterial properties remain robust.

Full-chain R&D and self-developed equipment: Utilizing self-developed equipment and seamless splicing technology, the nurse station countertop and medical handwashing sink are integrated into one piece, and the walls are completely seamlessly covered, creating a truly "seamless hygiene space".
